Lindenhurst Teen Missing For More Than 1 Week: Police
Lindenhurst resident Katherine Monterosa-Herrera has been missing since July 3, Suffolk County Police Department announced Monday.
BAY SHORE, NY — A 16-year-old Lindenhurst teen has been missing for more than a week, Suffolk County Police Department announced Monday.
Katherine Monterosa-Herrera was reported missing on July 3, 2024.
She was last seen leaving her Lindenhurst residence with her belongings and her passport, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Police said she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a tan shirt. Monterosa-Herrera has brown eyes and brown hair, weighs approximately 120 pounds and is five feet, four inches tall, police said.
Police are asking for the community's help locating her. Anyone with information can call 911 or 631-852-COPS.
