Man Used Fake Cash At Target In Copiague: Police

Do you recognize this man? Police are looking for him.

Police are looking to identify the man who used fake cash to make a purchase at the Copiague Target in August.

According to authorities, the man used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase a Shark vacuum at the store, located at 1149 Sunrise Highway, on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 12:30 p.m.

Police described the man as having a light complexion, in his middle to late 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build and a tattoo on his right forearm.

The man, who is wanted for passing counterfeit currency, fled the parking lot in a dark-colored Honda sedan.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
