Now that we’ve survived what seemed to be winter’s last gasp (hopefully), and all of the snow has already melted again, perhaps spring will truly begin as we head into the weekend.

As we wait for the weather to warm and for a busy week in Lindy to come to a close, there are several things you need to know today.

So, let’s get to today’s top five:

1. Missed the school budget meeting Wednesday night? Find out from Lindenhurst Patch between the Board of Education and Teachers’ Association of Lindenhurst (TAL).

3. Following on the heels of last night’s All Lindy concert at the high school, the Evening of Dance will also take place at the auditorium tonight at 7 p.m. Look for coverage of both to be posted soon.

4. OLPH School will host a starting at 7:30 p.m. that’s open to all. Look for coverage of it to be posted soon.

5. Looking for a “spooktacular” time for your kids? Then at is for you. It runs today from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m., and features monster stories and crafts with Miss Cheryl.
