But that doesn’t mean today is devoid of events, so here’s what you need to know today:

1. The National Honor Society Induction will start at the .

2. The doors open at the for Dancing with the Teachers. Tickets are $5 each. The show begins at 7 p.m., and will feature eight teachers and a supporting dancer from Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Intermission will feature a snack bar and raffle baskets.

3. There are several :

• Lindenhurst Varsity Boys Baseball at Walt Whitman
• Lindenhurst Varsity Girls Softball v Northport at Home

4. The (LMS) PTA’s continues today from 6 a.m. to noon. Funds raised by the daily charity event go toward the LMS PTA, so it’s asking for donations of unwanted used clothing and domestics. The drop-off container is located near north side of the LMS.
