1. The Daniel Street Civic Association of Lindenhurst will hold its May meeting tonight The meeting will host attendance by the other village civic associations. Superintendent Richard Nathan and Board of Education President Ed Murphy, Jr. are expected to speak about the proposed $140.2 million budget. A question and answer session will follow. All interested residents are welcome to attend this meeting. The meeting will take place in the second floor conference room of the McKenna Administration Building at 350 Daniel Street.
2. E.W. Bower elementary school’s PTA will meet tonight at 7 p.m. while ’s PTA will hold an executive meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.
