Meet Maverick, Shelter Pet of the Week

Maverick is a young Lab mix, found as a stray in Wyandanch, according to the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter where he’s now one of the shelter’s featured pets seeking a forever home.

This sweet, goofy boy is shy at first, but then warms up, becoming typically “Labbish” and active. Maverick does need to learn the basics of obedience, but his attention span is very good indoors, according to the shelter. And he’s currently learning commands.
