Police Report: Fights, Threats, Burglary, Shot-Out Window
Incidents in Lindenhurst, and North Lindenhurst, between March 20 and 31.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Incidents
- March 31: Harassment, second, South 11th Street, report indicated, "Dispute with landlord; '36 DO/PSD2;' notified 118."
- March 31: Harassment, second, South 11th Street, report indicated, "PO Freidrich 6098 110 'TOA 2220' civilian harassment."
- March 30: Criminal mischief, third, South First Street, report indicated, "Window shot out."
- March 30: Criminal mischief, fourth, New Highway, report indicated, "Complainant found holes in front window."
- March 30: Harassment, second, South 11th Street, report indicated, "Tenant threatening landlord and her husband."
- March 28: Burglary, second, West Montauk Highway, report indicated, "Door appears to be kicked in; ripped 'EAD' bolt."
- March 25: Aggravated harassment, second, Inlet Drive, report indicated, "Violent brother-in-law threatening to shoot complainant."
- March 25: Motor vehicle accident, Sunrise Highway and Wellwood Avenue; First Precinct told Lindenhurst Patch, "It resulted in traffic being diverted. No pedestrians were involved."
- March 25: Report of stabbing was actually an aided case, according to First Precinct; officials told Lindenhurst Patch, “A man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center with injuries to his hands and arms after punching and breaking a window at a home on 16 Street.”
- March 25: : Jason Tyree, 27, of Farmingdale was nabbed while driving the wrong way on Route 109, just West of Wellwood Avenue, in North Lindenhurst early Sunday morning, Suffolk Police said.
- March 25: : Ping Xie and Hui Zhao, from Queens, were nabbed on Saturday afternoon in a raid at Sunflower Spa in Lindenhurst, according to Suffolk Police; First Precinct told Lindenhurst Patch, "This was a known location that was under investigation for several weeks. The two women mentioned in the press release were the only people arrested. There's no additional information available at this time."
- March 25: : While being asked to leave the nightclub, Emanuel Rodriguez allegedly refused and began cursing at officers, Nassau cops said.
- March 23: Aggravated harassment, West Montauk Highway, report indicated, "Threats by unknown person over the phone."
- March 23: Aggravated harassment, North Clinton Avenue, report indicated, "Complainant was threatened by tenant; subject has two pitbulls."
- March 23: Assault, second, School Street, report indicated, "People fighting."
- March 23: Criminal mischief, fourth, North Broome Avenue, report indicated, "To vehicle; call-back request sent."
- March 20: Grand larceny, third, Wellwood Avenue.
- March 20: Harassment, second, South Bay Street, report indicated, "Male who lives above incident location pushed female."
