Village of Lindenhurst Announces Summer Concert Series

The Village of Lindenhurst approved a proposed schedule for the annual Village Summer Concert Series, all of which are held at Village Hall Square throughout the summer.

This year's schedule include a mix of cover bands, oldies groups, indie rock bands and a Grateful Dead tribute band.

The schedule, with 10 concerts as it stands, is as follows:

• June 29: Stumblebum (Top 40/Rock)
  
• July 6: Gypsy Felons (Top 40/Rock)
• July 14: Piece of the Rock (Oldies)
• July 21: Colors in the Air (Indie/Alternative Rock)
• July 27: Bouncing Betty feat. Law Falco (Top 40/Rock)
  
• August 3: The Fabularies (Oldies)
  
• August 10: Unbroken Chain (Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia tribute)
• August 17: Ridler (Classic Rock)
• August 24: Grand Folk Railroad (Oldies/Folk-Rock)
• August 31: OOMPA Night (Organization of Open Mic Performers)
