Woman Turning Herself In Brings Loaded Weapon to Precinct: SCPD
Police allege they found a gun and extra ammo in the Amityville resident's bag.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk County Police arrested an Amityville resident Friday for carrying a loaded weapon into the Second Precinct after she turned herself in for other crimes.
Stephanie Incarnato, 31, was turning herself in at the Suffolk County Police Department Second Precinct in Huntington, in connection with thefts Nov. 17 and Dec. 1 of items from DICK’S Sporting Goods at 870 Walt Whitman Road, police said.
Second Precinct officers did an inventory search of her property — and discovered a loaded 9mm handgun and multiple live rounds in her bag, police said.

Now Incarnato faces nine charges: two counts of petty larceny, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of criminal possession of a firearm, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The Brandon Avenue resident was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Dec. 23.
