After 2-Year Hiatus, Local Film Festival Resumes Live Event

LONG BEACH, NY — The boardwalk is ready for its closeup!
After two years due to the pandemic, the Long Beach International Film Festival is back for in-person screenings on the beach.

Filmgoers will also enjoy the Chefs & Shorts five-course, wine-paired dinner. The festival gives patrons the chance to meet filmmakers, producers and local business owners.
As for the festival's "main event," more than 40 films will be screened from around the world and compete in various categories, including feature-length narrative, documentary, short and animated.

Free screenings will take place on the beach in front of the Allegria Hotel at sunset. Just bring a lawn chair or blanket, and maybe some popcorn.
