Another Person Feared Drowned In Waters Off Long Beach
BREAKING: A 31-year-old man was in the water with friends around 2 a.m. when he went missing, authorities say.

LONG BEACH, NY – A day after the body of a 10-year-old boy was pulled from the waters off Long Beach, a man went missing in the same area early Monday, authorities said.
The 31-year-old man was last seen swimming with friends in the vicinity of Long Beach Boulevard at 2 a.m., the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The friends made it safely to shore and called Coast Guard Station Jones Beach to report the man missing.

The man's name has not been released, but he was described as about 170 pounds and wearing a beige swimsuit.
Long Beach Fire Commissioner Scott Kemins told CBS 2 the water was "extremely rough" at the time.

The man went missing less than 1,000 feet from where 10-year-old Ramell McRae Jr. became caught in a rip current and swept out to sea last Tuesday. McRae's body was found Sunday afternoon.
Currently assisting in the search for the 31-year-old man are:
- A Coast Guard Station Jones Beach 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew
- An Air Station Cape Cod MH-60 Jayhawk crew
- Long Beach Fire Rescue
- Long Beach Police Department
- Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department
- Nassau County Marine
- NYPD Aviation
