Art Supporters Show Seasonal Generosity
West End Arts Guild host annual holiday fundraiser, attracting local businesses people and organizations that donated handsomely.
The Long Beach Community Center was abuzz with excitement and postive energy when the West End Arts Guild held their annual holiday fundraiser event there on Dec. 13.
Along with the holiday festivities, foods and beverages, and a new WEA member exhibition to view at the center, local businesses, patrons, store owners and art enthusiasts made generous fundraising donations to WEA.
The WEA is a multi-leveled art organization with members who are fine artists, painters, illustrators, sculptors, photographers, craft-artists, digital photographers and digital artists from throughout south Nassau County.

Among the local stores, businesses, and organizations that made the event a success were Souper Fry and Hirez Ink of Merrick; Art Nail, Avi's Salon & Spa, Sorrento's Italian Deli, Lancer, Long Beach Plaza Liquor, Billy's Beach Cafe, West End Pizza, Earth Arts, Delta Cleaners, and Whales Tale, all of Long Beach; Zaraz Collection and Joe Donovan's Personal Training, both of Lynbrook; Metro Modes Salon of Bellmore; Freeport Concert Association, and generous collections of artwork donated by WEA artists.
