Bach Jewish Center, Allegria Unite for High Holidays

Services to be held at seaside hotel in Long Beach.

The Allegria Hotel will play host to Jewish high holidays ceremonies the next week.

The Bach Jewish Center, at 210 Edwards Blvd. in Long Beach, will hold Rosh Hashana services on Sept. 17 and 18 and Yom Kippur services on Sept. 26 at the seaside hotel at West Broadway and National Boulevard.

There will be free explanatory services with “meaning, melody and humor,” read a Bach postcard announcing the services.

The program is described as “spiritually based” with “a practical and contemporary message” and with no knowledge of Hebrew necessary.

Pre-registration is required for security purposes, and seating is strictly limited and will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis. Preferred seating at $100 per seat (includes exclusive Kol Nidrei Service).
