A car parked on the side of a home on Curley Street in Long Beach went up in flames Tuesday morning.
It appears the car fire burned the side of the home and damaged the roof a home just north of it.
The fire, which happened in the Canals section of the city, has been extinguished.

The incident occurred shortly after smoke was found inside the Lindell School while residents were voting and the district was hosting a meeting with staff members.
