Children's Halloween Parade Part Of Long Beach's Fall Festival

The parade runs on Sunday, Oct. 13.

LONG BEACH, NY — The annual Halloween Costume Parade is returning to Long Beach. Children in grade 5 and under are welcome to participate in their favorite costumes.

All children in costume at the Halloween Parade will receive a trick-or-treat bag filled with goodies including passes for a free public skating session at the Long Beach Ice Arena.

Awards will also be handed out for the best costume. The Oct. 13 event takes place at Veteran's Park located at the Recreation Center Campus on Magnolia Blvd. The costume parade kicks off at noon, with registration beginning at 11 a.m.

It is sponsored by the Long Beach CSEA, the Commanding Officers Association and the Long Beach Professional Firefighters.

The parade is part of the weekend Fall Festival that includes rides and vendors at Kennedy Plaza.
