Donations Sought For Thanksgiving Can Drive
Items will be delivered to the Long Beach Soup Kitchen.
LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach is giving back to the community this holiday season.
The City Council Thanksgiving Can Drive will benefit the Long Beach Soup Kitchen. Canned items can be dropped off in the City Hall lobby.
Donations are being accepted through Friday, Nov. 22. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Long Beach Soup Kitchen, a not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization, was established in 1983 to feed hungry people in the Long Beach area.
