Scenes in the City: Exposing Long Beach's Dark Side

Some snapshots of Long Beach afterhours.

Long Beach Patch's View Finder photo gallery aims to capture the many interesting and attractive scenes throughout the bustling beach town, with its distinct neighborhoods and diverse people.

Today's column features snapshots of the city late at night, after most of us have crawled into bed and the streets go empty. We take you to the water tower in North Park, to the bus terminal in the middle of town, to The Inn in the West End, to the snow-covered sands beach and other parts of the city afterhours.

If you have photos of city scenes that you would like us to consider for our View Finder gallery each Thursday, please email them — along with descriptive captions — to josephk@patch.com. Photos must be sent with the photographer's permission.
