Feb. 17: Jazz at Allegria, Scrapbook Meet Up, Breavement Group Gathers

Rise and shine Long Beach and get a taste of spring today as temps climb up into the 50s. Here’s what else you need to know on this (partly-)sunny Thursday:  

1. Why not get out and soak up the warmer weather on th boardwalk today, just as Patch suggested in 100 Things To Do in Long Beach earlier this week.

2. A scrapbook and digital photograph meet up group gathers at Starbucks at 7 p.m. You’re invited to grab a cup of java and bring photos, photo albumns and computers to work on your scrapping.

3. Modern jazz lovers can catch Steve Adelson on Chapman Stick perform with Chieli Minucci on guitar and Washboard Dave on percussion at the Allegria Hotel tonight. The music gets started at 7 p.m.; $6 drink specials all night, and an all-you-can-eat sushi bar for $25 per person. No additional cover charge.
