ICYMI: Former LB Police Commissioner Michael Tangney Dies
The funeral for Michael Tangney, who served for more than four decades in the Long Beach Police Department, will take place on Monday.
LONG BEACH, NY —Michael Tangney rose through the ranks in the Long Beach Police Department. Tangney went from police officer to police commissioner. Tangney, who served for 42 years in the department, has died. He was 66.
Tangney was commissioner for eight years starting in 2012.
