1. City Manager Charles Theofan has declared snow emergency.
2. The City of Long Beach storm hotline is 431-1000 press 4. For information go to the city’s website at www.longbeachny.org.
3. Long Beach Public Schools are closed Wednesday. For more information go to the district’s website at www.lbeach.org.
4. Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano has activated the county’s Non-Emergency Hotline. Residents can call 888-684-4274 for assistance with any snow-related situation that is not life threatening or an emergency. Any emergency calls should be placed to 911.
