Jan. 29/30: Catholic Celebration, Fun and Friends Bowling, Bilingual Storytime

The weekend has arrived and here is what you need to know:
1. A bilingual storytime in English and Spanish, including stories, songs and crafts, will kick off at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday at the Long Beach Library.
2. Catholic Schools’ Week is the annual celebration of Catholic schools and their contributions to their communities and the nation. This celebration in Long Beach gets started on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the St. Ignatius Martyr Church.

3. Speical needs children can join the fun and friends bowling league at South Levittown Lanes starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
4. Long Beach Patch is looking to recruit more mothers for our Moms Council, in which parents get the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences on parenting-related issues, as well as provide local information on parenting activities and events.
