July 11: New England Clambake, Beach Kettlebell Class, Surfs Up!

It's come and gone. The weekend, that is—but Patch returns with five things you need to know each weekday. Here's what's happening Monday:

1. The summer concert series continues with Simply Tsfat performing at 8 p.m. at Long Beach Boulevard beach.

2. It's New England Clambake Mondays from 4 to 10 p.m. at Lola's Kitchen & Wine Bar.

3. Each Monday a Beach Kettlebell Class is held at 6:30 a.m. on Riverside Boulevard beach.

4. Long Beach's surfing schedule from July 11 to July 15 allows for surfing in the West End between Maryland Avenue and Georgia Avenue beaches, as well as between National Boulevard and Magnolia Boulevard beaches. Check the schedule for permanent beaches, times and other information.
