July 12: County Reps to Speak at City Hall, Parenting Workshops, Religious School Meeting

Get the scoop on what's happening each weekday in Long Beach.

1. Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano's representatives will hold an informational meeting at 12 p.m. at Long Beach City Hall on developments plans for "the Hub" at and around the Nassau Coliseum and what this may mean for Long Beach and other communities. 

2. Erika Stroh, an educator, consultant and parent coach who founded Parenting From The Heart, will hold a series of parenting workshops in July and August facilitated by Seaside Celebrations in the West End starting at 7:30 p.m.

3. Temple Emanu-El on Neptune Boulevard will hold a Religious School Committee Meeting at 7:30 p.m.

4. Long Beach radio personality Halftime Howie hosts his show Broadcasting On The Beach each Tuesday at 8 p.m. on AM 1240 WGBB.
