July 14: 'Geeza' Surf Contest, Music Together Class, Yoga for Autistic Children

You want to know about daily doings in Long Beach, right? Then visit Patch, where each weekday morning we post five things we think should know that day. We'll inform you about surfing events, parent-child activities, beach happenings and more. Here's what Thursday has in store:
1. Surfing fans, make sure you check out the 2nd Annual George "Geeza" Geiser Surf Contest at National Boulevard Beach from 3 to 9 p.m.
2. Parents and children can take part Music Together Classes at 9:30 a.m. each Thursday at Temple Emanu-El.

3. The Milagros will bring the sounds of Santana to Neptune Boulevard beach at 8 p.m.
4. The Long Beach Recreation Department holds a beach yoga for children with autism/special needs at Grand Boulevard beach at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday.
