July 8: Fireworks Extravaganza, Allegria Rooftop Party, T'BaZco Road Concert

There are many happenings in Long Beach on Friday, from a street fair to a beach concert to a fireworks show:

1. The City of Long Beach's Fireworks Extravaganza is expected to started at about 9 p.m. at Riverside Boulevard beach. In an effort to reduce traffic congestion, the city is offering free shuttle buses to and from the beach starting at 7 p.m.

2. See the fireworks display from eight stories above ground! The Allegria Hotel is hosting at Rooftop Fireworks Party from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

3. The festivities get started when Long Beach's summer concert series continues with a performance by T'BaZco Road at 8 p.m. at Long Beach Boulevard beach. Make sure to check out Patch's story on the origin of the summer concert series that was posted here yesterday.

4. The second night of the St. Mary's International Summer Fair starts at 6 p.m.
