June 23: LBHS Prom, Morning Madness, Zoning Board Meets

1. Long Beach High School holds its Senior Prom at 7:30 p.m. at Chateau Briand in Carle Place, followed by the drug and alcohol-free Morning Madness party from 12 to 6 a.m. at Dave & Busters in Carle Place.

2. The Long Beach Zoning Board of Appeals holds it regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Among the items on the agenda is a proposal to open a new restaurant with a full bar at 124 E. Park Avenue.

3. An hour-long Mother Daughter Book Discussion is scheduled at the Long Beach Public Library starting at 7:45 p.m. The featured book this session is The Penderwicks at Point Mouette by Jeanne Birdsall.

4.
