Lido School Gets a Day Outside
Elementary school students got to explore, hear stories at the Lido Habitat.
The Lido School’s students, from pre-K through fifth grade, recently stepped outdoors and explored the world of literature during an autumn day at the Lido Habitat.
The seasonal celebration, sponsored by the PTA, had students and teachers come to school in costumes.
Prekindergarten children dressed up as their favorite storybook characters and marched in a parade for their parents and older students. In a serene courtyard setting overlooking the Habitat’s pond, all the children were treated to a fall-themed story read by a PTA volunteer.
