Long Beach Hosts Santa Run With Fire Department

The Friday night holiday event is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

LONG BEACH, NY — Santa will be trekking through Long Beach on Friday evening.

The Long Beach Fire Department is assembling the "Santa Run" starting at 5 p.m.

Listen for sirens along the route as the fire engine makes its way across the city.

The Santa Run begins and ends at the Fire Department on West Chester St.

Part of this year's route will take St. Nick on West Beech Street, Park Avenue, West Broadway and Long Beach Boulevard.

Overall, the fire department's Santa Run has 27 locales on the map.
