Long Beach Named a Top Beach Town to Explore on Foot

Long Beach was ranked a top beach town for exploring on foot, according to The Huffington Post and Redfin.

The City by the Sea ranked No. 5 in the country with a Walk Score of 87.

“Whether you’re seeking the adventure of extreme watersports or fine dining and nightlife, Long Beach has something for everyone,” the report said.

LB has a Walk Score of 87, putting it in the “very walkable” category. Walk Score uses factors like pedestrian friendliness, population density, access to public transit, and more to rank a neighborhood’s “walkability.”
