LONG BEACH, NY — Packages are unwrapped and that means it's almost time to remove the Christmas tree.

Trees will be disposed of on regular residential sanitation days. However, the holiday foliage will be removed from the curb by a separate garbage truck.

As the trees are ready to be discarded, the City of Long Beach asks that it is placed at the curb.
