Long Beach Soon Hiring For Summer Beach Positions
You can start getting your paperwork ready now if you're hoping to work on the beach this summer.

LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach will soon be accepting applications for seasonal/summer work around the city.
The city is looking to hire lifeguards, rookie lifeguards, Ocean Beach Park employees and summer police. Due to the coronavirus, applications are only being accepted via mail or at a drop box located outside City Hall. Applicants should have all the necessary paperwork and forms completed when submitting an application.

- Seasonal/Part-Time Employment Application
- W-4 (Federal)
- IT-2104 (State)
- I-9
- Employer Health Benefits Waiver of Coverage
- Copy of Social Security card
- Copy of Birth Certificate or Photo ID showing date of birth
- Copy of proof of Health Insurance Coverage
- Original Working Papers, if applicable.
Returning applicants must submit:
- Returning Seasonal Employee Alternative Application
- W-4 (Federal)
- IT-2104 (State)
- Employer Health Benefits Waiver of Coverage
- Copy of proof of Health Insurance Coverage
- Original working papers, if applicable.
