Long Beach's Annual Electric Light Parade Steps Off Dec. 14
Various cars, trucks and floats will be decorated with Christmas lights.
LONG BEACH, NY — It's time to show holiday spirit in Long Beach. The Electric Light Parade resumes the annual West End tradition of wrapping Christmas lights on antique cars, fire trucks, floats and bicycles.
Following the Dec. 14 event, awards will be handed out for the most festive. Plus, restaurants will have specials after the parade.
If you heading to the parade, keep in mind, there will be no parking on West Beech Street from Ohio Avenue to Grand Boulevard, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Shuttle buses will run from the LIRR to Ohio Avenue, and then Long Beach Catholic School back to the LIRR station every 15 minutes starting at 4:30 p.m. The parade steps off at 6:00 p.m. on Ohio Avenue.
