What’s an American City, even a relative small one, without some tall buildings? While Long Beach is sans skyscrapers, she still has her share of standout buildings that peek out above trees, homes and other buildings from blocks away. Some are notable for their architectural style. Others occupy a central location in the city. Still others have had time reversed by masonry facelifts. Patch spotlights some of these building in this Thursday’s View Finder photos gallery.
This weekly feature aims to capture some of the many interesting and attractive scenes throughout the bustling beach town, with its distinct neighborhoods and diverse population and, of course, its standout buildings.
If you have photos of city scenes that you would like us to consider for our View Finder gallery, please email them — along with descriptive captions — to josephk@patch.com. Photos must be sent with the photographer's permission.
