Mangano’s 'Hub' Development Meetings to Stop in Long Beach
Nassau County executive seeks public input on plan in city and other communities.

Long Beach is one stop on a series of public information meetings on the development plan for the area known as the “Hub” in central Nassau County, Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano announced Thursday.
The public meetings will focus on the economic development plans and economic benefits associated with creating a state-of-the-art sports-entertainment destination center in the area at and neighboring the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale.
“In order for residents to make an informed decision, I am committed to making sure all information is available to answer any questions the community may have,” Mangano said in a statement. “I have made certain that the voices of our residents will be heard at a public referendum to be held on August 1.”
