May 27: Inaugural Stickball Tourney, Pig Roast, 10 Mile Race

Here's what you need to know this Memorial Day weekend:

1. Friday at 9 a.m. excercise physiologist Magda Rosenberg will conduct a chair yoga class at the Long Beach Public Library.

2. On Saturday, the Steve Adelson and Dave Langlois Duo will perform at Nicks Tuscan Grill on East Park Avenue starting at 8:30 p.m. Adelson will be on the Chapman stick and Langlois on washboard, pots and pans.

3. On Saturday, Swingbellys on West Beech Street will kick off the summer with a Memorial Day Pig Roast starting at 2 p.m.

4. On Sunday, the first ever Long Beach Make a Wish Stickball Tournament will be held at at West School on Maryland Aveune starting at 1 p.m.

5. On Sunday, the Ten Mile City Managers Race starts at 8 a.m. at Magnolia Boulevard and West Park Avenue. The run is otherwise known as "A Salute to Our Veterans" Run.
