May 5: Mother's Day Crafts, PTA Elections

1. A Mother's Day craft program for tweens and teens in grades five and up is scheduled for the Long Beach Library on May 5 and 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Participants can make an exciting craft for the upcoming day.

2. Long Beach Middle School's PTA will hold their elections at 7 p.m. Join the organization at the middle school for this meeting that will decide its leadership for the next school year.

3. Coming up on Patch: We'll have a story about the City of Long Beach's proposed 2011-12 budget, and find out what your neighbors are selling their homes for in our Thursday feature House Hunt.
