The office of Immigration &amp; Refugee Services is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice to counsel, process, file, and represent clients before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and EOIR Immigration Court. Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Our staff offers a wide range of social and employment services, including: • Development of a personalized self-sufficiency plan • Case management and referrals • Employment services, job search skills, and work experience opportunities • Outreach and community support • Social and cultural adjustment assistance • English language support • Help with school, benefits, and local resource navigation • Transitional services and employment retention support We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. 1. Registration for the spring yoga and pilates book camp starts today at 7 a.m. Head over to the Recreation Department at Magnolia Boulevard at West Bay Drive to sign up.  2. Long Beach softball hosts Carey and the undefeated badminton team takes on Oyster Bay. Both games start at 4:30 p.m. at the high school. 3. The Long Beach Middle School will hold a Mother's Day Boutique that gives children the opportunity to buy gifts for the upcoming holiday. 4. Later today on Patch, we'll post the police report, a restaurant review and game coverage of the undefeated girls' lacrosse team. 5. If you were too busy to log on to Patch yesterday, you missed a video of Ari Pine giving his platform as the lone challenger in this year's Long Beach school board race,  a story on the City of Long Beach's proposed 2011-12 budget, and a feature on the changes at the principal's office at East School.
