New Year's Closures In Long Beach
Find out what's open as we drop the ball to usher in 2024.
LONG BEACH, NY — As we get ready to ring in 2024, the City of Long Beach has some holiday closures. Starting with New Year's Eve, the Ice Arena will be shut, while the Recreation Center closes at 3 p.m.
Looking ahead to New Year's Day on Monday, the Ice Arena will be open. However, City Hall, the Recreation Center and the Magnolia Center will be closed.
Additionally, there will be no regular sanitation pickup on Monday and buses will run on a holiday schedule, the city said.
