Organizations Can Join Long Beach Memorial Day Parade

LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach will come together to commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives in military service.

The annual Memorial Day Parade steps off from West Beech Street and Ohio Avenue. After lining up at 9:30, marchers will begin the route at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 26.

The parade will proceed to Park Avenue and march to City Hall. It's expected to conclude at City Hall bandstand at approximately 11:30 am.

Long Beach officials and the Long Beach Joint Veterans Organization are inviting groups and organizations to join the parade. To participate, fill out the form on the city's website by Friday, May 16.
