Races, Awards For All Ages In Long Beach On Nov. 17

LONG BEACH, NY — Get the sneakers ready as the City of Long Beach's Turkey Trot is back.

Children can participate in a one-mile run, while a 10K (6.2 mile) race will also be held on Sunday, Nov. 17.

Same-day registration for both events runs from 7-8 a.m. at the Long Beach Catholic Regional School gymnasium on West Broadway. There will take place rain or shine.

It's $18.28 for the fun run (same day or early bird). The top three boys and girls in the 10 and under and 11-14 age groups will win award.

To register for the 10K race, it's $49.33 on event day or in advance. Awards will be handed to the four men and women in various age groups.
