Scenes in the City: Pedal-ers and Parked Two-Wheelers
A photo gallery of cyclists and bikes in Long Beach.
Long Beach is a city inviting to bikers, with its 2.2-mile boardwalk and its street grid of straight-aways. On any given day, many cyclists can be spotted crisscrossing the city, whether they’re out training for a triathlon or taking a leisurely ride, and bikes are parked seemingly everywhere, chained to poles, rails and racks outside of stores, churches and the train station. Patch spotlights some of these cyclists and bikes in today's Viewfinder photos gallery.
This weekly feature aims to capture some of the many interesting and attractive scenes throughout the bustling beach town, with its distinct neighborhoods and diverse population.
If you have photos of city scenes that you would like us to consider for our Viewfinder gallery, please email them — along with descriptive captions — to josephk@patch.com. Photos must be sent with the photographer's permission.
