This Week In Long Beach: Petit Larceny, Unlicensed Vehicle Operation, Police Say

LONG BEACH, NY. — The Long Beach Police Department released its crime report for the week ending Jan. 14 Wednesday, detailing the arrests made by LBPD within city limits.
The items reported took place between Jan. 1 and Jan. 13, and are as follows:
On Jan. 1, Long Beach police arrested a 60-year-old Island Park man who now faces charges of driving while intoxicated, criminal possession of a controlled substance and operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, police said.

On Jan. 4, Long Beach police arrested a 40-year-old West Hempstead resident who now faces charges of driving while intoxicated and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, police said.
On Jan. 5, Long Beach police arrested a 49-year-old Long Beach man who now faces three charges of petit larceny, police said.

On Jan. 7, Long Beach police arrested a 33-year-old Long Beach resident who now faces a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
On Jan. 9, Long Beach police arrested a 51-year-old Long Beach man who now faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two traffic violations.
On Jan. 11, Long Beach police arrested a 33-year-old Rockville Centre resident who now faces charges of driving while intoxicated and a one-way road violation, police said.
On Jan. 11, Long Beach police arrested a 37-year-old Long Beach resident who now faces charges of criminal mischief, menacing with a weapon, criminal possession of a weapon and assault with intent to cause physical injury.
On Jan. 13, Long Beach police arrested a 20-year-old Island Park resident who had an open arrest warrant, police said. The 20-year-old now faces charges of menacing with a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
