1 Injured After Car Veers Off Roadway Into Long Island Home: Police
The car crashed with another vehicle before leaving the road and smashing into the home, Nassau police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY — A woman was injured after her car crashed with another vehicle and then veered off the road into a Valley Stream home on Friday night, Nassau police said.
A 30-year-old woman driving a 2015 Infiniti that crashed with a 2013 Honda driven by a 65-year-old man at the intersection of Green Street and Ash Street at around 6:40 p.m., police said, adding that "as a result of the collision," the Infiniti veered off the roadway and struck a home on Green Street causing minor damage.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment, but no other injuries were reported, police said.

The Town of Hempstead building inspector responded to the scene to evaluate the home, according to police.
