$1 Million Mega Millions Ticket Sold on LI; Jackpot Hits $868M
A lucky LI store sold a $1 million ticket for last night's drawing. No one hit the jackpot, though, so it rises to a record $868 million.

A Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Long Island store, the New York Lottery said in announcing the results of Tuesday night's drawing.
The lucky ticket, which matched all five winning numbers and missed just the Mega Ball, was sold at Linden News & Convenience located at 238-12 Linden Boulevard in Elmont. Seven other $1 million winning tickets were sold nationwide, but no one hit the $667 million jackpot. The jackpot for Friday night is $868 million, a record for the game and the third largest lottery jackpot ever.
The winning numbers for Tuesday's drawing were: 3-45-49-61-69, Mega Ball 9.
