Girl Scouts of Nassau County Announces Malverne Resident to Serve on Board of Directors
Hayley Kelch Will Serve as Member-at-Large on Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Board of Directors.

Girl Scouts of Nassau County announced that Malverne resident Hayley Kelch has been elected to serve on Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Board of Directors through 2027. Hayley Kelch was officially sworn in during the organization’s 60th Annual Meeting, held at Nassau Community College in Garden City. The Board of Directors is comprised of lifelong Girl Scouts, community leaders, and nonprofit and corporative executives who provide leadership, innovation and support to the Council and guide the organization’s vision and mission.
“Our Board of Directors is made up of passionate leaders who believe in the power of Girl Scouting to inspire and uplift the next generation,” said Randell Bynum, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “I am eager to see this group of leaders inspire and shape the Girl Scout experience in their terms. I am confident they will help to fulfill our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character.”
Board members work together to provide strategic leadership and foster opportunities that help girls throughout Nassau County develop courage, confidence, and character. They also play a vital role in supporting fundraising efforts that expand access to Girl Scout programs that empower girls socially, academically, and emotionally.

Hayley Kelch is the Director of Commercial Legal Services for PSEG Long Island, leading a team of attorneys who provide legal counsel on complex commercial transactions supporting reliable electric service for Long Island. With over 20 years of experience, Hayley is a seasoned commercial attorney known for her expertise in counseling, contract drafting, and negotiation. She joined PSEG Long Island in 2019 and was promoted to director in 2023. Hayley also co-chairs the PSEG Legal Professionals Committee and has managed the Legal Internship Program. Previously, she was a partner at Cullen & Dykman LLP, leading its Not-for-Profit and Education Law Practice Group. Deeply committed to community service, Hayley co-leads two large Nassau County Girl Scout troops and serves in leadership roles with school PTAs. She has received numerous awards recognizing her professional achievements and community contributions.
