MALVERNE, NY — The Long Island Rail Road has work planned this weekend on Hempstead Avenue in Malverne.

The road will be closed from Friday, April 4-Monday, April 7 to vehicular and foot traffic at the train crossings.

Drivers and pedestrians should use alternate routes to get around the construction.
