Malverne's Caroline Tulley Selected as Player of the Week
SUNY Oneonta senior and lax player earns high honor.

State University of New York Athletic Commissioner Azure Davey announced that SUNY Oneonta senior Caroline Tulley (Malverne/Sacred Heart Academy) has been selected as the women's lacrosse Player of the Week in the conference. Tulley earned the initial honor of the spring for the sport after leading the Red Dragons to a 2-1 week to open the 2013 season.
Tulley had a monster week offensively accumulating 13 goals and five assists over the three-game span. In the season opener last Tuesday against city rival Hartwick; she scored five goals while adding two assists in a 20-5 rout of the Hawks. The next day versus Rensselaer, she scored a team-leading four goals and had one assist in a 13-9 loss.
Tulley capped her week this past Saturday with four goals and two assists in a 23-10 victory against Marywood University.
Tulley is a four-year starter for Oneonta and, this spring, is a team captain for the Red Dragons. To this point in her career she has collected 160 points.
