Menorah Lightings in The Area Wednesday

Hannukah begins on Wednesday and continues through Dec. 5. To celebrate the Festival of Lights there will be several Menorah lighting ceremonies in the area.

Here's a look at some:

Village of Lynbrook: The Lighting of the Menorah will take place on Wednesday, 7 p.m. inside at the Recreation Center at 55 Wilbur St. Refreshments served following the lighting.

Malverne Jewish Center:  The Malverne Jewish Center holds a Lighting of the Menorah on Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. at the Malverne LIRR station.

Temple B'nai Sholom in Rockville Centre:  This year’s Community Menorah Lighting is scheduled forWednesday, December 4th at 6:15 P.M. at the Temple, located at 100 Hempstead Avenue.

Eisenhower Park: Nassau County has announced that a six-foot Menorah will be lit Monday at 6 p.m. in Parking Field 2 of the Park.
