Nassau Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

Police say the robber pulled out a gun and fled with cash from the register.

ELMONT, NY — An Elmont gas station was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, and Nassau County police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

According to police, a man entered the Conoco Gas Station at 237-12 Linden Blvd. at 5:58 p.m. He approached an employee, pulled out a gun and demanded money. The man took cash from the register and fled on foot, police said.

The robber was a black man, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with an average build, wearing black clothes, a black mask and sunglasses.
