Cops report Valley Stream bank robbed Monday afternoon.

An attempted robbery occured at Chase Bank in Valley Stream Monday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.
According to detectives, a male black subject in his mid 20’s, 5’ 8” with a thin build wearing a black hooded shirt with white lettering and a black baseball cap entered the Chase Bank at 270 N. Central Ave. around 4 p.m. and displayed a demand note to the teller.
After several seconds the subject left the bank without any proceeds and was last seen walking southbound on N. Central Avenue.

There were 11 employees and three customers present at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
